Essential Duties:Lead the design of HVAC systems and district energy systems.Conduct field investigations to document existing conditions.Perform selection and calculations for design purposes.Collaborate with junior engineers in developing and reviewing project drawings and documentation.Engage directly with clients by analyzing design options, conducting cost-benefit comparisons, and communicating findings to support decision-making.Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements.Qualifications:4-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.Comprehensive experience in HVAC and hydronic system design.Experience designing geothermal or district energy systems is a plus.Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.A New York State Professional Engineer’s license is advantageous.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
