LaBella Associates is actively looking for talented individuals to join our Buffalo, NY office as a Junior Highway Engineer. This entry-level role will allow you to work within a dynamic team, contributing to various transportation engineering projects involving roadways, trails, and pedestrian pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members on transportation engineering tasks related to roadway design, trail systems, and pedestrian projects.
Engage in designing horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, traffic signage, pavement markings, safety assessments, and erosion control measures.
Develop maintenance and traffic protection schemes and prepare construction documentation.
Conduct field reconnaissance, project inspections, and report preparation as needed.
Participate in meetings and conferences to enhance project understanding and collaboration.
