About the job
Aptura partners with leading foundational AI labs to change how advanced models tackle complex financial problems. Founded by former Lazard and Partners Group professionals, the company operates from London and San Francisco, blending deep institutional finance experience with AI development. The team shapes how new AI models handle valuation, modeling, and deal analysis.
The India team is growing, with part-time AI Residency roles open for experienced investment banking associates in Bangalore. This position is designed for those who have built their skills at top-tier banks and are interested in applying that expertise to help train AI models for real-world finance tasks.

- Judgment Analysis: Examine where AI reasoning breaks down, especially in valuation, accounting, and transaction structuring.
- Framework Design: Turn banking intuition into structured challenges for AI, including stress-testing assumptions, handling financial ambiguity, and checking management projections.
- Benchmark Construction: Create and annotate actual DCFs, LBOs, comparable company analyses, and real deal cases to evaluate AI systems.

Requirements
- 3–4+ years in investment banking or corporate finance at a well-known international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top global advisory).
- Associate level, with experience in any sector.
- Strong modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents).
- Excellent written communication and careful attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in financial innovation.
