Role overview

The GTM Engineer at HUD plays a key role in identifying and connecting with technical decision-makers. This position focuses on engaging machine learning engineers, AI researchers, and technical leaders at major labs and enterprises. Success in this role depends on genuine understanding of technical challenges, not just delivering standard sales pitches.

This role suits someone who enjoys technical discussions and can move deals forward efficiently. HUD values individuals who want to help shape the go-to-market approach, not just follow existing sales processes.

What you will do

  • Manage the outbound sales pipeline from targeting and data enrichment to outreach, follow-ups, and scheduling meetings.
  • Build and maintain go-to-market workflows, including outbound email sequences, CRM automation, lead scoring, custom tools, and inbound lead qualification.
  • Use AI tools to automate workflows, scrape code, or build internal tools to increase productivity.
  • Develop and refine messaging for technical stakeholders, such as ML engineers, AI researchers, and engineering leaders.
  • Quickly research new prospects and industries, understanding their pain points and workflows, and where HUD fits in.
  • Track pipeline metrics and work to improve conversion rates at every stage.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to shape and iterate on HUD's go-to-market strategy as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to create and execute a go-to-market strategy with measurable results.
  • Strong record of closing deals.
  • Background in Computer Science or Engineering, or significant hands-on coding experience.
  • Deep knowledge of GTM tools and software.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially for technical audiences.
  • Experience in early-stage technology startups and comfort with change.
