Weedmaps is seeking a Group Manager of Product to guide multiple product lines within our remote team in the United States. This leader will oversee a team of experienced product professionals focused on our core marketplace offerings. The position involves translating product vision into actionable strategies and business initiatives, ensuring strong execution, and aligning cross-functional teams to meet roadmap and revenue goals.
What You Will Do
- Lead and develop a team of product managers responsible for key marketplace products.
- Drive the execution of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with leaders in analytics, design, marketing, and sales to deliver products that improve the cannabis shopping experience.
- Champion innovation by empowering your team to create solutions that help users learn about cannabis, connect with brands, find dispensaries and delivery services, and place online orders.
- Own product metrics and ensure strategies translate into measurable results.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to convert product capabilities into strategic business outcomes.
- Communicate product strategy clearly, motivating your team to build a standout cannabis marketplace.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep interest in the cannabis economy, marketplaces, and advertising products.
- Strong grasp of mobile commerce, including user acquisition, discovery, and order flows.
- Experience with multi-sided marketplaces is preferred.
- Ability to identify user needs and pain points, and work with partners to solve complex challenges.
- Track record of launching and scaling successful products or business lines.
- Expertise in strategic planning, systematic execution, and refining KPIs.
- Proven people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing product managers.
- Comfort working within matrixed organizations and collaborating across functions.
- Strategic, creative, and data-driven approach to prioritizing both quick wins and long-term objectives.
