We are in search of a meticulous General Ledger Accountant to enhance our Finance team. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to our month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the precision of financial records and providing vital financial insights to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.
  • Record journal entries and maintain comprehensive accounting records.
  • Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Generate financial reports for management and various departments.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external audit documentation.
  • Conduct balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Support activities for monthly and year-end closures.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, sales tax, etc.).
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to assist business operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.
