Requirements:No prior experience is necessary; however, related experience in mechanical, construction, environmental, or solid waste fields is advantageous. Ability to comprehend and adhere to regulatory requirements related to the position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read maps and construction plans. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Must meet physical demands, including driving, walking inspections, lifting up to 50 lbs., hand excavation, ladder work, and operating tools under varying weather conditions.

As a Field Technician servicing the LA area, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of gas migration control and recovery systems. This includes tasks such as gas well monitoring and adjustment, troubleshooting, and system repairs.

Your Role in Making a Difference:

  • Efficiently operate, monitor, and maintain gas collection systems in compliance with established parameters and goals, including:
    • Routine wellfield balancing and maintenance.
    • Blower and flare operations.
    • Condensate management system operations.
    • Surface emissions monitoring.
  • Conduct field sampling at various test locations including wells, probes, and pumps.
  • Calibrate and maintain analytical and monitoring equipment.
  • Perform essential maintenance activities such as greasing, cleaning, fusing pipe, and pump repairs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data, effectively communicating findings to supervisors and clients.
  • Work independently or collaboratively in a professional, productive, and safe manner.
  • Maintain daily field logs documenting data collected, observations, and recommended actions.
  • After training, work autonomously with an assigned work truck, including fuel and maintenance.
