This initiative focuses on care, connection, and community.We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Senior Community Support Worker to assist in daily operations and empower our care team. This essential position reports directly to the Team Leader and plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer care, staff coordination, and service quality. Key Responsibilities Coordinate service operations, manage rotas, and handle administrative tasks Evaluate care plans, assess client needs, and promote independence Exemplify Belong’s values and high standards Mentor support workers, conduct one-on-one meetings and performance reviews Engage in and support community-based activities Ensure adherence to safeguarding, medication management, and infection control protocols Provide care, companionship, and empathy to our new @Home clients Participate in the on-call rota and provide flexible coverage as needed Qualifications We Seek A values-driven individual with significant experience and relevant qualifications in care and support Proven leadership abilities to coach and inspire team members Excellent communication and assessment skills Composed, organized, and confident in making decisions A collaborative team player with a passion for helping others Must possess a driving license and have access to a car (travel time paid) Enhanced DBS check will be mandatory Benefits of Joining Us £13.60 per hour 45p per mile + paid travel time Ongoing learning and development support Opportunity to contribute to a new model of community care Join a friendly, supportive team that shares common values Location: Belong at Home, Birkdale – Our First Shop-Front Service Open to Internal & External Candidates Ready to lead with compassion?
