Role Overview
The Content Operations Manager keeps publishing systems running smoothly across all 5W-owned properties and a growing network of media sites. This role is responsible for the technical and operational side of publishing, not content creation. - Apply schema and structured data to each post using provided templates.
- Oversee image upload, formatting, alt text, and compression to optimize page speed.
- Ensure internal linking connects each piece to relevant practice pages on the 5W website.
- Coordinate social media scheduling with the social media team.
- Submit published content to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Generate sitemaps, monitor broken links, manage redirects, and address 404 errors across platforms.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in content operations, WordPress management, or digital publishing.
- Keen attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Technical fluency with modern publishing tools and workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
