Location: On-site in Addison, TX & Grand Rapids, MI (4 Days In-Office)

Compensation: $75,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Your Role: Driving Growth through Engagement

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be at the forefront of our expansion. This role emphasizes field engagement, where you will actively seek opportunities through traditional outreach methods and represent our brand at regional conferences, trade shows, and educational events. Your focus will be on establishing meaningful in-person relationships with educators and school administrators.

Your Career Development:

  • Field Mastery: Act as the brand ambassador at key events, generating high-quality leads and opportunities for our Account Executive team.
  • Path to Account Executive: This position offers a clear trajectory for high performers to transition into full sales cycle roles, where you will manage deals from prospecting to closing.
  • Mentorship: Collaborate closely with experienced AEs, engaging in outreach strategies and gaining exposure to the sales process, including discovery calls, demos, and pipeline management.
  • Travel Opportunities: Be prepared for significant travel to partner districts and conferences to experience our technology in action.

Who You Are:

  • Driven Professional: With 1–5 years of experience in lead generation or B2B sales, you have a proven record of exceeding targets and a strong desire for career advancement.
  • Engaging Communicator: You excel in client-facing situations, confidently navigating conversations with Superintendents and Principals at conferences.
  • Sales Acumen: While interpersonal skills are crucial, your sales expertise is paramount. You are proactive, organized, and quick to learn, with a solid grasp of opportunity qualification.
  • Self-Motivated: You flourish in a fast-paced environment where you take initiative and drive results.
