Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, security-focused IT Operations Engineer who will take ownership of the reliability, compliance, and trust posture of our internal systems. Your responsibilities will encompass user provisioning, device security, compliance automation, and continuous monitoring utilizing platforms such as Vanta.
This position merges traditional IT operations with innovative trust and compliance automation: you will ensure system security and compliance, maintain integrations across HR, Finance, and Engineering, and guarantee that the company is always audit-ready for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and AI-trust frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Identity Management
Administer and support key SaaS applications: Google Workspace, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Apple ABM, Okta/SSO, OnePassword, OpenAI/GPT, Claude, DocuSign, Ashby, Gusto, Ramp, LinkedIn Recruiter, BuiltIn.
Manage user onboarding/offboarding, MFA, and access control via centralized identity management and SSO.
Maintain device management (MDM) policies concerning encryption, patching, and asset tracking.
Security & Trust Automation
Operate and maintain the Vanta (or equivalent) compliance automation platform to ensure monitoring of controls and evidence freshness.
Guarantee continuous compliance across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and security frameworks — manage control remediation and auditor readiness.
Oversee security controls such as MFA enforcement, privileged access audits, and device encryption coverage.
Collaborate with leadership to maintain the company’s Trust Report/Trust Center, ensuring up-to-date documentation, certificates, and vendor reviews.
Automation & Workflow Engineering
Develop and optimize automation workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
