Murgado Automotive Group is on the lookout for a dedicated and talented IT Help Desk Technician to enhance our vibrant IT department. This pivotal role involves providing essential support to our users across two Virginia locations: Mercedes-Benz of Richmond and Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian. As the primary contact for technical assistance, you will play a vital role in resolving technical challenges and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems.

The Ideal Candidate
We seek an enthusiastic problem solver with a customer-centric approach. You should possess experience in IT support, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Collaboration is key, and you should be proactive in suggesting improvements to systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
∙ Act as the first point of contact for technical support through phone, email, and our ticketing system.
∙ Deliver remote support utilizing RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise Automate).
∙ Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
∙ Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
∙ Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, and printers.
∙ Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff as necessary.
∙ Provide clear information regarding company IT services and products.
∙ Propose enhancements to IT procedures and user experience.
∙ Document support issues, solutions, and feedback in a clear and concise manner.
∙ Occasionally provide after-hours support during project rollouts or system upgrades (nights/weekends/holidays).
∙ Communicate effectively in English (additional languages are a bonus).
