Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer to join our expanding team of Electrical and Control System Engineers, Control System Integration Engineers, and Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for designing advanced instrumentation and control systems for Data Centers. Your projects will encompass everything from high-level conceptual designs to detailed site designs, retrofits, factory witness testing of equipment, and construction administration.
You will collaborate closely with various engineering disciplines, teams, subconsultants, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that Data Center Building Management Systems are designed and constructed to the highest standards. You will manage all aspects of the Building Management System (BMS) design, including specifications and drawings, and may need to travel occasionally for site visits and project meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selection and specification of process instrumentation.
- Selection and specification of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment.
- Selection and specification of networking components and media, including copper, fiber, and wireless hardware.
- Development of control system (BMS) sequences of operations.
- Submittal review and field inspections.
- Task management.
