Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive structural analyses of dynamic system components, including rotor systems, control systems, and blades. Assess the static strength and fatigue life of critical structures using classical calculations and finite element analysis for both flight and ground load conditions. Evaluate the life and dynamic response of metallic and composite components subjected to high and low cycle fatigue. Prepare structural substantiation reports and other essential technical documentation to support program objectives. Assist in full-scale component ground testing and flight testing, addressing test requirements, layout, instrumentation, and data reduction. Establish best practices for structural analysis of critical aerospace structures. Collaborate with aerodynamics and loads & dynamics teams to design high-performance propeller and rotor blades.

Candidates should have experience in fatigue life predictions, finite element methods, and analytical first principles. The ideal applicant will also mentor junior team members and establish best practices for the program.
