About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and innovative HR Lead who will take charge of both Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist functions for our EdTech division. This position demands a proficient recruiter with extensive operational HR knowledge, adept at scaling hiring requirements while providing a remarkable employee experience throughout their journey.
You will serve as the face of HR, collaborating closely with various business teams, overseeing recruitment, facilitating people operations, and fostering a high-performance culture across our North and South locations.
Your Responsibilities
HR Business Partner & Operations (Generalist) – 60%
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers in the North and South regions.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit for the location.
- Spearhead employee engagement, communication, and culture-enhancing initiatives.
- Address employee inquiries, handle grievances, and oversee daily HR operations.
- Assist in performance management cycles, goal-setting, and manager support.
- Oversee attendance, compliance documentation, and HRIS integrity for the location.
- Manage benefits administration, leave management, and policy guidance.
- Collaborate with central HR teams (HRBP, Payroll, L&D, Compliance, Admin) for seamless operations.
Talent Acquisition & Management (TAM) – 40%
- Collaborate with the TA team on end-to-end recruitment across India for Sales, Operations, Support, and other roles.
- Conduct daily/weekly hiring funnels, walk-in drives, and bulk interview events.
- Build robust talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals, networking, and local market intelligence.
- Oversee screening, shortlist management, interview coordination, and offer finalization.
- Partner with business/sales teams on workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and SLA adherence.
- Maintain accurate hiring metrics and dashboards for leadership reviews.
- Train new managers and interview panels on best practices and processes.
