Role overview
The Human Resources Manager will establish and lead the People function at Halo Industries' Kuala Lumpur site. As the local team grows to around 40 employees, this position will shape HR frameworks, maintain regulatory compliance, and implement practical strategies to support company growth.
Key responsibilities
- Talent acquisition and workforce planning: Lead recruitment across all departments, collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and structure, and design efficient hiring processes.
- HR operations and administration: Develop and maintain HR policies, manage onboarding and offboarding, and oversee employee records and daily HR activities.
- Payroll and compliance: Supervise payroll and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), ensuring all practices align with Malaysian labor laws.
- Benefits and total rewards: Design and manage competitive benefits programs, coordinate with insurers and vendors, and monitor program effectiveness.
- Employee engagement and culture: Promote company values, launch engagement initiatives, and advise on employee relations matters.
- Performance management and development: Set up a structured performance management system, support managers with goal setting and development plans, and identify leadership development needs.
