Must be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a strong desire to learn and grow. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. A collaborative team player. Ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Mast-Jägermeister US, Inc. is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern who will play a pivotal role in supporting a variety of HR functions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within our vibrant company culture, interact with our Senior Leadership Team, and connect with department leaders and professionals across the organization while working on impactful projects. Designed to blend practical and educational experiences, this role will allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and gain insights into the Human Resources Generalist role.

This internship is hybrid, allowing you the flexibility to work both in our headquarters in White Plains and remotely.

Key Projects and Responsibilities:

  • Lead an individual project that delivers strategic business value and present findings to senior leaders.
  • Assist with various HR generalist functions, including recruitment, onboarding of new hires, HR reporting and analytics, and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Conduct research on trending HR topics, particularly in benefits and diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on initiatives related to learning and development, employer branding, training opportunities, and policy development.
  • Draft company-wide communications on HR-related topics, such as benefits, payroll, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and training.
  • Gain insights into the customer service aspect of HR by learning to troubleshoot employee questions and concerns.
  • Carry out administrative tasks and support various ad hoc projects as needed.
