Required Skills and Experience:Fluency in English is essential. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals. Highly self-motivated with excellent reasoning skills. Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 11 PRO). Familiarity with MacOS is a plus. Experience with office productivity software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Basic knowledge of networking and connectivity concepts (DHCP, DNS, cabling, etc.). Understanding of antivirus and spyware removal techniques. Able to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Attention to detail in technical documentation. Capability to open a computer and replace defective components. Desire to learn and grow new skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory is advantageous.

Join our dynamic team at TransPerfect as a Helpdesk/IT Support Desktop Specialist in our Barcelona office. We are looking for a motivated individual to take on a full-time role in providing exceptional IT support. This position is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience, offering valuable exposure to an enterprise computing environment. The successful applicant will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and support PC and Apple hardware and software, including various peripheral devices such as printers and USB devices.

  • Manage incoming requests via calls and emails regarding workstation and peripheral performance.

  • Conduct on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of workstation and peripheral issues, implementing corrective hardware and software solutions, including remote repairs.

  • Follow procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring helpdesk requests.

  • Ensure a high level of user satisfaction through accurate follow-ups, strong technical skills, and effective customer communication and relationship-building.
