We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to join our rental facility in Richmond, VA (Colonial Heights). This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow with us, contribute energy and passion to their work, and provide maintenance and repair services for a diverse range of heavy equipment and aerial lifts. You'll have the chance to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. This role includes on-call scheduling with additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shop Technician, you will leverage our advanced technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, procure parts, and diagnose issues efficiently using data from a wide variety of equipment. With real-time insights at your disposal, you'll quickly identify root causes and implement corrective actions, allowing you to work smarter, not harder.

  • Adhere to safe job practices when repairing equipment.

  • Utilize technology (laptops and tablets) effectively.

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a range of rental and customer equipment while exercising a high degree of independent judgment.

  • Assist in training junior technicians as required.
