We are seeking a Field Technician (Mechanic) at our Advanced Solutions rental facility in Salt Lake City, UT. We want someone eager to grow with us, bringing enthusiasm and commitment to their role while providing maintenance and repairs for an array of customer and company-owned Pump, Power & HVAC equipment, contributing to the future of construction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay applicable after 40 hours (this position may involve on-call responsibilities with extra compensation).

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Technician, you’ll leverage our technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and efficiently diagnose issues by accessing data across numerous makes and models. With real-time information at your disposal, you can swiftly identify root causes and necessary corrective actions, allowing you to work smarter, not harder.

  • Adhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment.

  • Comfortably use technology (laptops and tablets).

  • When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, executing repairs as needed.

  • Work independently or collaboratively with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at the shop and customer sites.

  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a timely manner daily.

  • Assist with various tasks as required.
