About Numeric
At Numeric, we believe that robust accounting is the backbone of every successful business. In a world where most financial software has remained stagnant since the early 2000s—clunky, slow, and lacking modern AI capabilities—accounting professionals are grappling with an unaddressed data dilemma. As data volumes surge and systems become increasingly complex, the tools to tackle these challenges are sorely lacking. But there's hope: these issues are not only real and pressing; they're solvable.
Welcome to Numeric—your modern financial data platform for accounting and finance. By integrating data, workflows, and AI-driven solutions, we're empowering accounting teams to generate accurate, detailed financial data swiftly, enabling them to make informed business decisions with greater confidence.
With a solid product-market fit and an expanding customer base that includes industry leaders like OpenAI, Plaid, Brex, and Betterment, we are backed by top-tier investors such as Menlo Ventures, IVP, Founders Fund, and 8VC, alongside founders and executives from Ramp, Segment, and other leading companies in the sector.
The Role
As the Director of Outbound Strategy, you will spearhead Numeric's outbound approach from inception to execution, focusing on personalized BDR-led outreach and scalable automated account engagement. You will manage a global Business Development Representative (BDR) team across the UK, NYC, and San Francisco, currently comprising 10 members and projected to grow to over 20 by 2026. Your leadership will drive immediate pipeline results while cultivating long-term capabilities.
Our BDR team is exceptional, with defined pathways for promotion, a vibrant culture, and a history of impactful contributions. The next phase involves a complete reimagining of outbound strategies for 2026.
This role transcends traditional people management; we seek an individual who views outbound as both a product and a system, recognizing the BDR function as a dynamic talent engine for the company.
What You’ll Do
Cultivate the BDR organization into a premier training ground for future AEs, marketers, account managers, and leaders through comprehensive coaching and development initiatives.
Systematize the recruitment process to identify and attract high-potential early-career talent.
Oversee and nurture early-career managers across various geographical locations.
Design, implement, and enhance our outbound strategy, balancing personalized outreach with scalable methods while upholding high standards for message quality, relevance, and execution.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Events, and Growth teams to integrate product messaging and execute cross-channel campaigns.
