Within this framework, Revenue Operations collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, and HR/People teams to ensure disciplined planning and performance management. The GTM Planning team is pivotal in translating company strategy into actionable targets, segmentation, and coverage models, ensuring our GTM strategy is both analytically sound and operationally effective as we grow.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented GTM Planning Specialist to take charge of target setting, segmentation, and coverage design for our GTM organization. This high-impact individual contributor position is essential in defining how we establish targets, organize GTM teams, and allocate coverage across various segments and regions. You will play a key role in converting company growth objectives into clear, actionable plans for execution in the field, fostering consistency and rigor in GTM planning processes. Close collaboration with Sales, Technical Success, and Finance leadership will be crucial in shaping planning decisions, navigating trade-offs, and continually enhancing our strategies for maximizing growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Target Setting & Quota Design
• Define and manage the GTM region and segment target-setting methodology.
• Convert company-wide revenue objectives into specific quotas across segments, roles, and regions.
• Collaborate with Finance and GTM leadership to navigate trade-offs among growth, efficiency, and coverage.
Segmentation Strategy & Coverage Design
• Establish and refine customer and market segmentation (e.g., enterprise, midmarket, SMB, industry verticals, product motions).
• Continuously adjust segmentation strategies based on key performance indicators and market trends.
• Ensure consistent application of segmentation throughout planning and territory execution.
• Evolve coverage models in partnership with GTM leadership to optimize growth, efficiency, and customer engagement.
Performance Insights & Decision Support
• Analyze key drivers of GTM performance (e.g., attainment rates, segment performance, book sizes, coverage ratios).
• Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing growth and efficiency.
• Provide clear, actionable insights based on analyses to inform leadership decisions.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
• Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to ensure plans are realistic and executable.
