About the job

The Group Financial Controller at fuku oversees financial operations spanning nine entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. This position is based in Singapore and covers a broad range of responsibilities across reporting, compliance, treasury, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting, Consolidation, and Audit
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements in line with SFRS(I) and internal policies.
    • Manage monthly, half-yearly, and annual closings for timely, accurate reporting.
    • Lead the annual statutory audit and serve as the main contact for external auditors.
    • Oversee management reporting, including KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
    • Analyze results and provide variance commentary for Group and subsidiaries.
  • SGX Catalist Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with SGX Catalist Rules and continuous disclosure obligations.
    • Prepare financial results announcements and lead Annual and Sustainability Reports.
    • Coordinate AGM preparations, including financial resolutions and shareholder communications.
    • Monitor Interested Person Transactions and track IPO proceeds utilization.
    • Support the CEO and Executive Chairman in sponsor and auditor engagements.
  • Internal Controls and Audit
    • Develop and strengthen the Group's internal control framework.
    • Implement segregation of duties and authority matrices to reduce fraud risk.
    • Lead the annual internal audit and resolve findings promptly.
  • Treasury and Cashflow Management
    • Oversee treasury operations and daily liquidity management.
    • Manage cashflow forecasting and working capital oversight.
    • Build banking relationships and negotiate new facilities as needed.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Direct the annual budget cycle and manage rolling forecasts.
    • Translate financial performance into clear management reports.
    • Support business units with financial data and budget tracking.
  • Systems and Continuous Improvement
    • Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting structures.
    • Work with the Technology team on ERP implementation.
    • Standardize workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
