Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:A Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or CPA qualification with a specialization in accounting and/or IT. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a publicly traded company. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and reporting in compliance with IFRS. Extensive expertise with CCH Tagetik or similar group reporting and consolidation software. A solid affinity for IT and excellent proficiency in Excel, complemented by project management experience. A proactive and analytical mindset, with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Become a vital part of our Group Accounting team at medmix, where you will elevate our financial data management to new heights. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for both internal and external reporting. Our team, based in Switzerland and India, collaborates closely to drive financial excellence.

In this position, you will report directly to the Consolidation and Reporting Manager in Switzerland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Play an active role in the monthly group financial closing, consolidation, and reporting processes.
  • Conduct thorough sanity checks to guarantee the integrity of financial data reported across the group.
  • Contribute significantly to the preparation and review of internal management reports as well as external half-year and annual reports.
  • Oversee the maintenance and continuous enhancement of CCH Tagetik, our group reporting and consolidation tool.
  • Assist legal entities and stakeholders with accounting and reporting inquiries and monthly reporting challenges.
  • Participate in updates of the medmix accounting manual to align with business needs and IFRS requirements.
  • Evaluate annual IFRS changes and aid in the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
  • Administer the medmix Delegation of Authority (DOA) and coordinate the execution of necessary changes.
  • Support various international projects and handle ad-hoc requests as required.
