Job Summary
As we expand our global deployment of transformer inference systems, we are in search of a seasoned Global Supply Manager to spearhead the sourcing and supplier strategy for our L11 hardware, which encompasses switches, PDUs, CDUs, cabling, and essential data center infrastructure. This pivotal role involves establishing and overseeing our global supply chain for critical L11 components, ensuring swift, efficient, and reliable production scaling. You will collaborate extensively with hardware engineering, manufacturing operations, and program management to provide resilient and cost-effective supply solutions at a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Craft and implement effective sourcing strategies for L11 hardware, including switches, PDUs, CDUs, cables, racks, and related systems.
Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers worldwide to guarantee quality, capacity, and timely delivery.
Negotiate commercial and contractual terms to maximize cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate closely with Hardware Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to evaluate and onboard new suppliers and technologies.
Lead cost modeling, benchmarking, and should-cost analysis initiatives to uncover and secure cost-reduction opportunities.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate supply chain risks, encompassing capacity, logistics, and geopolitical challenges.
Coordinate cross-functionally to align supply chain strategies with program timelines and product milestones.
Present sourcing strategies and insights to the executive leadership team.
