Role overview

The Global Employee Relations Manager leads the development and maintenance of employee relations standards across all regions. This position balances independent decision-making with close collaboration alongside People Business Partners and senior leadership. The manager helps maintain a cohesive company culture while scaling practices responsibly and ensuring legal compliance worldwide. The role calls for experience in setting global standards and handling complex workplace matters.

What you will do

  • Standardize employee relations: Build and manage processes that create a consistent, scalable framework reflecting Optro’s high-performance culture globally.
  • Case management: Oversee workplace investigations and performance cases from start to finish, supporting People Business Partners to deliver consistent results.
  • Labor law compliance: Monitor labor laws in key regions, including UK grievance procedures, EMEA Works Councils, and California-specific regulations, to ensure company practices remain current.
  • Support for expansion: Advise on employee relations as Optro moves into new markets, aligning practices with local legal and cultural requirements.
