Role overview
The General Manager for UK Operations will oversee Wheely’s largest market: London. This market alone generates nearly $100 million in annual gross bookings. The General Manager will manage a team of more than 1,200 chauffeurs and supervise four local teams. Reporting directly to the CEO and executive team, this leader will have direct influence on key decisions and the ability to drive results quickly.

Main responsibilities
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the London market
- Oversee the offline product, including pricing, availability, and fleet optimization
- Lead four teams: Driver Operations, Quality & Training (Chauffeur Academy), Sales (Wheely for Business), and Marketing
- Drive business development by identifying new growth opportunities and partnerships
- Collaborate with the central Product team to enhance passenger and chauffeur experiences
- Navigate London’s regulatory environment strategically
- Represent Wheely externally through media, partnerships, and key stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or Economics from a top-tier university
- 7-10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or high-growth tech
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Based in Central London
