Qualifications

Experience in civil defense litigation is required. Trial experience is preferred. In-depth knowledge of State and Federal court rules and procedures. Strong computer skills, including Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, LexisNexis, Odyssey e-file, Pacer, and ECF filing systems. Familiarity with iManage or similar document management platforms is a plus. Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, coupled with excellent organizational skills. Proficient time management and deadline adherence skills.

About the Role

O’Hagan Meyer is hiring a full-time Paralegal for the Wilmington, DE office. This position plays a key part in supporting attorneys handling general litigation, including single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits, Class/PAGA actions, and complex litigation matters.

What You Will Do

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and management for a variety of litigation types
  • Work with both single-plaintiff and multi-plaintiff cases, as well as class actions and intricate legal matters
  • Collaborate with the legal team and also handle tasks independently as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal court rules and procedures
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel, and MS Office (including Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
