We are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Frontend Engineer to become a vital member of our team. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the development of our patient mobile applications and physician-facing interfaces. This position allows for full remote work.
Who You Are
You are a Frontend Engineer with robust experience in TypeScript and Svelte, adept at constructing modern web applications. You possess a deep knowledge of SvelteKit, Tailwind, and the broader frontend ecosystem, and you are excited to leverage that expertise in building applications for both patients and providers that interface with various EHR systems and Android/iOS PWAs. Familiarity with Capacitor, Kotlin, or Swift is advantageous. You prioritize user experience, reliability, and the meaningful impact your work can have on the healthcare sector.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the development and maintenance of patient and provider-facing applications utilizing SvelteKit, Tailwind, and TypeScript.
Create progressive web applications compatible with both Android and iOS platforms.
Enhance PWAs with Kotlin and Swift native code plugins to facilitate access to local device APIs.
Implement integrations with various health data sources, including CGMs and Apple HealthKit.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers to design and utilize APIs, ensuring secure and reliable data transfers.
Work in tandem with designers to transform prototypes into accessible and high-performance interfaces.
Engage with clinical experts to validate application functionality and ensure patient safety.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 4 years of experience in TypeScript and web development.
At least 4 years of experience working with Svelte or similar component-based frameworks.
Strong expertise in Svelte and SvelteKit.
Proficient in Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with CapacitorJS is a plus.
Exposure to Kotlin and Swift is an advantage.
