Role overview
The Founding Technical Writer will shape how Giga’s engineering work is communicated to the world. This role focuses on creating technical blog posts, detailed teardowns, and stories that showcase Giga’s engineering culture and breakthroughs. The emphasis is on quality and clarity, with a standard similar to Anthropic’s engineering blog or Ramp’s Builders blog. The marketing team handles distribution, allowing the writer to concentrate on content and craft.
What you will do
- Produce two flagship technical posts per month (1,500–3,000 words each). These are in-depth, interview-driven pieces published with your byline and designed to be shared among engineering teams.
- Create two shorter pieces per month, such as tactical teardowns, customer engineering stories, or technical point-of-view articles.
- Develop editorial and source material for major product launches, collaborating closely with Giga’s engineering team.
Requirements
Writers who have experience with high-standard engineering blogs and can bring a thoughtful, narrative approach to technical storytelling will thrive in this role.
