About the Role

As a Founding Technical Recruiter, you will:

  • Innovatively source candidates: Explore repositories, research papers, Hacker News threads, Discord servers, academic labs, and open-source projects, tapping into your own network to discover exceptional candidates.

  • Directly assess technical talent: Dive into code, analyze research papers, and comprehend architectural decisions.

  • Maintain a swift recruitment process: Ensure that every candidate receives timely responses, and that all processes progress smoothly without delays.

About You

You could be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are meticulously detail-oriented, taking pride in maintaining accurate data and streamlined processes.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and adaptability.

  • Thrive in a dynamic, lean team environment.

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in technical recruiting.

Preferred Qualifications

We highly value candidates with:

  • Experience in recruiting for cutting-edge AI roles, such as ML researchers, infrastructure engineers, systems engineers, or similarly technical roles.

  • Prior experience as a founder or being the initial recruiting hire at a startup.

  • A well-established network within the AI/ML engineering community.
