What you’ll do:Serve as our inaugural dedicated sales hire, transitioning from founder-led sales to a structured, scalable model. Identify and secure new mid-market D2C accounts (revenues of $10M–$100M) while developing the sales playbook. This role encompasses the entire sales process and more. Engage in multi-party, consultative sales, collaborating with brand owners, Heads of E-Commerce, and Operations teams. Collaborate closely with our CEO, Head of Growth, and Head of Customer Experience. What you’ll bring:3-5 years of experience in a consultative sales role, preferably as an Account Executive. A background in E-Commerce, with a strong network among D2C brands. Familiarity with D2C growth strategies is essential, and it's a significant advantage if you can bring accounts from day one. Proven track record in closing deals—show us your success stories and client portfolios. Fluency in AI tools for prospecting, research, drafting, and iteration, along with an understanding of why AI-augmented concierge commerce is game-changing. A relationship-first mindset, as our product is a concierge service and understanding the personal shopper experience is crucial. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

Role overview

This Founding Account Executive position is for Intellica, a sales concierge platform created at Atomic. Intellica connects with customers through iMessage, using a human-driven approach to recover abandoned carts, strengthen relationships, and increase revenue for Shopify DTC brands with more than $10M in annual revenue.

What you will do

  • Engage with potential clients and demonstrate Intellica’s ability to deliver measurable results, such as a 10% revenue increase, 50% response rates, and 10x abandoned cart recovery.
  • Guide brands through a straightforward integration process that requires only one meeting and minimal effort from their team.
  • Help drive Intellica’s early growth as a key member of the founding team.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or account management, preferably with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands or SaaS products.
  • Comfort working with Shopify merchants and understanding e-commerce sales cycles.
  • Ability to communicate value and build relationships with clients.
