About Northslope Technologies
At Northslope, we envision the next generation of companies powered by mission-specific AI software, designed to enhance competitive advantages rather than relying on standard SaaS solutions. We create bespoke production AI applications that empower our clients to operate at the efficiency, scale, and profitability typical of enterprise software firms, across any industry.
Our mission is to revolutionize the software landscape by developing solutions that are as flexible as the businesses they serve, crafted by engineers who blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of client needs.
The Role
As a key member of our dynamic Operations team at Northslope, you will be entrusted with managing the operational, regulatory, and foundational frameworks essential for our smooth scaling to over 200 employees. This position is not about following conventional methods; you will have the opportunity to design and implement systems and processes tailored to Northslope’s unique needs, ensuring a balance between team requirements, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and our commitment to agility.
Daily responsibilities will include coordinating visa sponsorships, ensuring state compliance, reviewing NDAs, onboarding suppliers, and managing office space logistics. You will take on challenges, refine processes, and strive for continuous improvement. Your role will involve liaising with state agencies, collaborating closely with our legal partners on various matters, overseeing GDPR and other compliance initiatives, and ensuring adherence to obligations across US, UK, and Canadian jurisdictions. Additionally, you will manage our physical office presence, including lease negotiations, space planning, and expansions into new locations. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple workstreams while upholding high standards for quality and risk management.
This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial spirit who takes full ownership of projects, operates independently, and is eager to learn quickly across diverse domains such as immigration law, state compliance, commercial real estate, website management, and finance. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and continually refine our approach to operational complexities.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of operations experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment. You should have led complex operational projects and have valuable insights from experiences navigating rapid growth.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
Adaptability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
