Your Role as a Forward Deployed Engineer
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be instrumental in collaborating directly with clients to deploy and integrate Bretton’s cutting-edge platform within complex real-world environments. This position uniquely combines elements of engineering, customer engagement, and product development, enabling you to help clients leverage our technology while gathering insights that will enhance and expand our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Bretton's AI agents across banks, fintech firms, and payment processors, adeptly managing security and compliance challenges associated with regulated industries.
- Travel to client sites to address last-mile connectivity issues, ranging from core banking integrations to troubleshooting scenarios that arise in live production.
- Collaborate with BSA officers, AML analysts, and risk management teams to translate their operational workflows and regulatory obligations into actionable agent behaviors.
- Develop connectors, configuration tools, and internal frameworks that transform bespoke client solutions into scalable platform capabilities.
- Guide clients through the implementation process as a trusted technical advisor, helping them resolve challenges swiftly and maximize their investment in Bretton's solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to eliminate obstacles and ensure client success.
- Diagnose and solve issues during real deployments by replicating problems and collaborating with the engineering team to implement solutions.
- Convert customer usage data into actionable product insights by communicating their needs with engineering and product teams, identifying opportunities to integrate recurring solutions as formal product features.
