Key Responsibilities:

In this foundational role, you will have the opportunity to develop new embedded systems from the ground up, while also enhancing existing solutions. As a Firmware Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and optimizing embedded software for robotic surgical applications
  • Enhancing our codebase by refining and, when necessary, phasing out outdated embedded software
  • Conducting rigorous testing and validation of software systems to ensure they meet stringent safety and reliability standards
  • Engaging in peer code reviews to uphold quality
  • Developing drivers and applications to expand the functionality of our robotic systems
  • Defining hardware and software specifications as we advance new hardware platforms
  • Collaborating with team members to share your insights and progress
