Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or administration. Accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) is a significant asset.5 to 7 years of experience in a finance-related role. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management. Deep knowledge of Excel and Access software. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize, synthesize information, diagnose issues, and formulate recommendations. Proactive profile in pursuing and achieving results (initiative, autonomy, and leadership). Ability to manage ambiguity. Aptitude for handling tight deadlines and working under pressure. Skill in guiding teams in implementing action plans and integrating products while maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships. Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written), as communication with external partners will be required.

About the job

As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our billing systems at Vidéotron. Your primary responsibility will be to implement necessary controls to minimize revenue losses while considering sector-specific impacts and the company's growth objectives.

You will oversee the integration of new telecommunications products and markets within your sector, adhering to financial performance standards and objectives. Your proactive involvement will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the Vice-Presidency sectors through the optimization of systems and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and their application in subscriber billing systems.
  • Conduct various checks within the billing systems to ensure revenue integrity.
  • Track project milestones to meet deadlines and generate progress reports on ongoing projects.
  • Validate that proposed developments meet requirements.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Map and document operational processes within the Vice-Presidency or collaborate with managers to refine processes, rules, and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices.
  • Monitor legal, fiscal, and regulatory constraints related to projects and liaise with head office teams.
  • Develop test scenarios to ensure revenue integrity.
  • Participate in working committees regarding IT change requests and prepare follow-up reports for the Vice-Presidency.
  • Recommend access security levels and system controls under your responsibility.
  • Follow up on system fixes to address various recommendations.
  • Issue recommendation reports aimed at improving practices.
