Requirements:A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification. Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience in AP and AR. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and locations. Detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of working independently. Proficiency in IT, particularly familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous.

Join us as a Finance Manager at the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), where you will play a vital role in ensuring robust financial operations across all our programs and social enterprises. You will oversee accurate financial transactions, ensure compliance with the Charities Act and Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore, and maintain strong internal controls. Your expertise will also support financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and mission-driven initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct, control, and manage the accounting functions of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring strong internal controls.
  • Oversee and review the monthly accounting close of AP and AR teams, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial information for management reports.
  • Prepare financial reports promptly, submit reports to funding agencies and statutory boards, and ensure the quarterly filing of GST returns to IRAS.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, overseeing the statutory financial year-end audit.
  • Review, enhance, and fortify internal controls and process improvements.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and perform related duties as needed.
