Department Overview
The General Directorate of Organization & IT ensures the smooth operation of METRO's systems. It comprises developers, IT technicians, and system support specialists who daily support My market, franchise stores (My market Local), and METRO Cash & Carry, ensuring business continuity.
We are currently seeking a Field Technician for our headquarters in Metamorfosi, Attica. The Field Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and support of in-house applications and IT equipment in stores throughout Greece.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and diagnose equipment issues at both company offices and stores.
- Install operating systems and applications.
- Conduct checks to ensure proper equipment functionality.
- Prepare equipment for installation in stores (staging).
- Configure and set up POS systems, mobile terminals, etc.
- Work from Monday to Friday.
