Role Overview:
As a Field Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of a customer-facing team, working closely with an Account Executive and BDR to ensure successful evaluations, onboarding, and growth for Materialize customers. You will manage the technical relationship from initial discovery through to production and beyond. This role blends pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, with a focus on customer engagement through discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof of value (POV) initiatives, while also contributing to the development of scalable Field Engineering resources. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy direct customer interaction, excel in navigating technical uncertainties, and wish to shape the evaluation and adoption of a groundbreaking infrastructure product.
Our Field Engineers are based in our NYC office near Astor Place, with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office.
