Position Overview:
The Family Services Manager (internally referred to as Family Resource Center Manager) plays a crucial role in the development and execution of core programming at the Family Resource Center (FRC) through meticulous coordination, staff supervision, program management, and ensuring contract compliance. This position is collaborative and detail-oriented, focusing on building a robust program infrastructure to facilitate the effective delivery of services. The FRC Manager is instrumental in operations, data integrity, program planning, administration, and stakeholder engagement, significantly contributing to the success of program execution.
 
The Family Resource Center Manager is responsible for meeting contract requirements and goals set by the Department of Education (DEC) for the Family Resource Center (FRC) contracts. This position requires providing leadership and direction for GLIDE’s families and staff in the following areas: 1) Developing and implementing family programming to foster and maintain high levels of family participation, 2) Overseeing outreach and programming for GLIDE services, 3) Enhancing agency integration through programmatic collaboration by offering a diverse range of services for families, and 4) Ensuring that family programming is culturally attuned to the needs of the community.
 
The FRC Manager should be flexible and willing to occasionally work non-traditional hours, including early evenings, holidays, and weekends.
