About the job

About Relativity Space

Relativity Space is building rockets in Long Beach, California, with a focus on meeting today’s launch needs and pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology. The Terran R vehicle is engineered to deliver customer payloads into orbit, addressing the rising demand for launch capacity. Success with Terran R will open new doors for science, exploration, and future innovation.

Team Overview: Factory Test

The Factory Test team designs, builds, and manages the critical infrastructure used to test nearly every Terran R component at Relativity’s Long Beach headquarters. This centralized approach helps engineers and technicians understand the full product lifecycle, working with parts of all sizes and complexities. The team operates large-scale test stands capable of handling millions of pounds of force.

Team members often lead several projects at once, gaining broad technical experience and avoiding silos, regardless of prior aerospace experience. With major testing campaigns ahead, Factory Test is expanding to support Relativity’s growing launch program. New hires will help shape and expand the testing infrastructure, not just execute tasks.

About the Role
