About the Role
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager plays a vital role in overseeing and enhancing the maintenance operations at our Distribution Centre. This position is crucial for ensuring that we meet safety, sanitation, and reliability standards. Reporting directly to the Site Director, you will engage in hands-on management of technical tasks related to engineering, installation, maintenance, and sanitation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement preventive maintenance plans for a range of systems, including refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and security within the distribution center.
- Lead a team of supervisors and maintenance technicians, managing vendor relationships to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Oversee the sourcing and management of MRO spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance equipment to ensure optimal asset performance.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and site stakeholders for the planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of production equipment.
- Maintain and oversee CMMS/G-sheet preventive maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage contractors and suppliers, defining the scope of work and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Communicate safety-related issues effectively and promptly.
- Develop and monitor the maintenance department budget, ensuring labor, MRO inventory, contractor costs, and capital expenditures align with cost control measures.
- Support safety, quality, and productivity improvements through necessary equipment and facilities upgrades.
- Track maintenance metrics such as equipment downtime and preventive maintenance completion rates.
- Ensure adherence to HelloFresh’s safety policies and report workplace hazards promptly.
