Key Responsibilities of the Behavior Technician: Deliver direct care to clients in both individual and group settings, employing intensive teaching methods as well as natural environment training. Adhere to the behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols specified in each client's individualized treatment plan developed by a BCBA/BC. Accurately collect, document, and summarize data on observable client behaviors. Support parent and caregiver training consistent with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction plans. Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation in accordance with established protocols. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about client progress as directed by BCBA/BC. Implement safe and appropriate procedures while working with clients and report any critical incidents and safety concerns promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for therapy sessions. Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and conducting assessments related to behavior reduction and skill acquisition.
