Required Skills:• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in IT Support within an enterprise software environment.• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the installation and service of video surveillance equipment and IP cameras.• At least 7 years of experience with Genetec Security Center is preferred.• 7 years of experience in providing production support or similar roles.• Proficient in office applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.• Strong problem diagnosis skills, including discovery, replication, troubleshooting, resolution, verification, and escalation as needed.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Support Analyst to join the DOT IT Enterprise Applications Team for a 12-month engagement. The ideal candidate will provide second-level support, documenting and coordinating activities related to the installation and configuration of Genetec Security Center, IP cameras, SV32 devices, door aggregators, and other system components deployed for the FACS project. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to the Enterprise Application team regarding the installation and configuration of Genetec Security Center and related devices.
  • Assisting the deployment team with troubleshooting installation and configuration issues.
  • Logging and documenting support requests from help desk personnel, users, and project teams; investigating problems and determining appropriate actions.
  • Monitoring the progress of support requests through to resolution and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Escalating third-party software and hardware issues to the Application Owner based on severity and project impact.
  • Communicating technical information clearly to various internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Providing technical writing services and documenting software configurations for a complex multi-site deployment.
  • Maintaining and updating project documentation as needed.
  • Documenting incidents and resolutions, providing weekly status reports to management.
