We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented individual who has in-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and practices. The ideal candidate will thrive both independently and collaboratively, working on a variety of projects that involve assembling, constructing, and installing diverse structures and fixtures while maintaining a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
Duties:
- Demonstrated expertise in high-end custom remodels, particularly in finish carpentry, including but not limited to trims, cabinets, and flooring.
- Assemble and construct wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures in accordance with specifications and detailed schematics.
- Conduct cabinet installations ensuring precise alignment and operational functionality.
- Perform water damage restoration tasks as required, which may include repairing or replacing damaged materials.
- Install stucco and various exterior finishes to enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of buildings.
- Carry out fixture installations for a range of applications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Execute construction painting tasks, applying finishes that fulfill project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition, safely utilizing hand tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter, showcasing a robust portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques is an asset but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cabinet installation processes and best practices is essential.
- Able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions for extended periods.
