CGS Federal is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic Information Technology team in Chicago, IL. As part of a large federal entity, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and oversight of various projects within our IT department. Your responsibilities will include project design, development of project plans, resource assessment, and implementation of management strategies for ongoing and new projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of Agile project management principles, capable of leading both large and small projects. You will serve as the primary liaison for project information and act as a team lead, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and timelines to ensure timely delivery of value.
- Organize and lead project status meetings and working sessions.
- Prepare and disseminate project progress reports.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, correcting deviations from plans and executing delivery planning for assigned projects.
- Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvement and monitoring.
- Guide your team in making informed business decisions regarding system implementation, modifications, and maintenance.
- Create and maintain business process documentation for testing and training purposes.
- Establish and manage a clear project management process, championing ongoing improvements to implement best practices for agile project management.
- Deliver an agile transformation plan to transition from the current state to the desired outcomes.
- Utilize standard project performance metrics for program assessment and evaluation.
- Facilitate the implementation and use of agile tools, guidelines, and metrics to achieve a standardized approach to project execution.
- Monitor costs, schedule adherence, and technical quality of work.
- Prepare and present technical analysis reports as required by the agency.
