As a Construction Manager at meraki-global, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving construction initiatives across diverse projects in the UAE. Your expertise will ensure that all construction activities align with approved designs, specifications, and industry standards, while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Planning

  • Direct construction operations in strict accordance with approved blueprints, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
  • Implement effective construction methodologies and standard operating procedures.
  • Achieve project milestones in line with the established schedule through precise macro-level planning.
  • Anticipate potential obstacles and devise strategies to mitigate risks.

2. Schedule Control & Recovery Planning

  • Regularly assess project progress and productivity metrics.
  • Formulate recovery strategies to address any delays encountered.
  • Develop corrective measures to avert project timeline slippages.

3. Resource & Productivity Management

  • Optimize the allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, adhering to specified requirements.
  • Maintain productivity logs and proactively follow up to secure on-time project delivery.
  • Adjust resource levels based on evolving project demands.

4. Coordination & Team Management

  • Facilitate seamless coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to streamline operations.
  • Authorize work completion documentation for subcontractors to enable prompt payments.
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying and resolving productivity bottlenecks.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage team members, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.

5. Quality Management

  • Enforce a commitment to quality by ensuring that all work is executed with 100% compliance.
  • Avoid rework through diligent supervision and adherence to quality protocols.
  • Regularly update quality control checklists and relevant documentation.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

  • Promote and uphold rigorous safety standards to ensure zero incidents.
  • Maintain impeccable site housekeeping and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Foster a robust safety culture within the project team.

7. Cost & Material Control

  • Minimize material wastage on-site.
  • Conduct material reconciliations to align consumed with estimated quantities.
  • Implement cost-control strategies to maintain budget integrity.
