Requirements:A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement. A robust understanding of the procurement process, guidelines, and industry best practices. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software systems. Previous experience in nonprofit or educational settings is a plus. A strong commitment to our mission and the special needs community.

As an Executive / Senior Executive in our Procurement Department, you will play a vital role in enhancing our procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing procurement requests, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and offering expert advisory services to internal stakeholders. This position is essential for promoting transparency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to best practices through the effective use of procurement tools.

Your contributions will encompass:

  • Thoroughly reviewing procurement requests from various departments to confirm specifications are complete and meet compliance standards for publication, evaluation, award, and contract management.
  • Overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle within our procurement system, collaborating with stakeholders to assess tenders, evaluate submissions, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Partnering with internal teams to identify their procurement needs and providing insights on best practices, sourcing strategies, and policy requirements.
  • Ensuring all procurement activities are conducted in alignment with our organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards.
  • Detecting and implementing improvements to enhance procurement processes and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating and leading procurement-related training initiatives for staff to foster awareness and capabilities.
  • Engaging in special projects as directed by management.
