SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSDemonstrated success in media sales support, account management, and advertising operations within a dynamic environment. In-depth knowledge of the international media landscape. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different time zones and cross-functional teams. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Commitment to delivering exceptional client service in a challenging environment. A collaborative mindset and strong team ethic. Confidence in negotiation and influencing capabilities. Self-aware and diplomatic in all interactions. Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Freewheel, OperativeOne, or related SSP/DSP platforms highly preferred. Ability to manage complex data sets and planning templates effectively.

The Account Services Representative plays a crucial role in the comprehensive management of advertising campaigns, guaranteeing flawless execution and superior service for both internal sales teams and external clients. This role demands a proactive individual adept at navigating a complex, multi-platform environment and collaborating across various functional departments—including Advertising Sales, Brand Creative Strategy, US Planning, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will spearhead media planning efforts, oversee the booking of new business, and meticulously track inventory and delivery performance. As the primary client-facing representative, the ASR will craft sophisticated supporting materials and strategic insights essential for the success of integrated, high-impact advertising solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts closely alongside an Account Services Director, focusing on advertisers and agencies to drive advertising revenue for CNBC International.
  • Support the Account Services Director in executing CNBCi sales initiatives, including sponsorship and tactical package development, management reporting, and campaign fulfillment.
  • Leverage research intelligence and insights to devise solutions in partnership with the Research team and Creative Solutions team to attract advertisers to collaborate with CNBC.
  • Construct media plans for the Account Services Director utilizing CNBC platforms, including TV, Digital, and affiliates.
  • Develop media strategies that maximize revenue generation and enhance campaign performance for advertisers.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of CNBC’s product portfolio, proactively sharing updates and opportunities with local Sales Representatives.
  • Generate campaign delivery reports in collaboration with the traffic and research teams.
  • Coordinate with CNBC and affiliate traffic & digital teams to schedule and implement campaigns.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of commercial assets to traffic and digital ad operations teams for effective campaign execution.
  • Work in conjunction with the CNBC Legal and Compliance team to facilitate the review and clearance of all commercial assets for broadcast and digital placements.
  • Monitor live campaigns for smooth operation and provide regular performance reports to clients.
  • Collaborate with research to produce comprehensive campaign delivery reports before, during, and after campaigns for CNBC clients.
  • Engage with the CNBC Brand Studio marketing team to inform strategies aimed at customer engagement in target markets and support the business activities of local Sales Representatives.
  • Compile campaign highlights, screenshots, and compelling case study materials for advertisers.
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure accurate billing processes.
