Role overview
The Executive Business Partner works closely with the CEO and co-founder in San Francisco, acting as a trusted operator who amplifies the CEO’s impact and supports the company’s momentum. This position manages the CEO’s calendar and communications, coordinates across hiring, customer engagement, operations, travel, and events, and ensures the CEO’s time is used effectively. Daily work in this role also helps shape Rhythms’ Business Partner agent, an AI tool for executive support, by providing real-world examples and feedback.
This is a highly autonomous position in a high-trust setting alongside a serial entrepreneur. The role provides broad exposure to all areas of the business, including product, customer relations, recruiting, and strategy. Anticipating needs and taking initiative are key to success here.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, coordinating meetings with investors, board members, customers, and the leadership team. Prepare each meeting with context, agendas, and clear goals. While AI tools assist with briefs and summaries, final decisions rely on your judgment.
- Oversee company operations, including leadership retreats, all-hands meetings, onboarding, and quarterly board documentation. Facilitate connections across teams in Seattle, San Francisco, Hyderabad, and Chennai, with automations supporting reminders and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the People team on recruiting by scheduling interviews and contributing to a strong candidate experience. Prioritize key decisions in a fast-moving recruitment process.
- Draft and finalize communications in the CEO’s voice, including emails, memos, and updates for customers, partners, and internal teams. AI accelerates drafting, but you ensure the final message is accurate and effective.
- Handle a variety of tasks beyond traditional boundaries, such as vendor assessments, competitive research, customer briefings, event planning, travel logistics, and expense management. Agents provide initial drafts, and you refine and complete them.
